a year in the life

The sounds of the W&M Orchestra accompany images of ardent fans, reunions, move-in day and impromptu naps….

On July 14th, we added a brand new video to the William & Mary YouTube channel, showcasing the 2009-2010 school year. The video, currently featured on the channel homepage, is called “A Year in the Life.”

From August to May, the photos (all by Creative Services’ Steve Salpukas) take us through what we have to consider a less than average school year. After all, the College hasn’t been able to boast about beating UVA in football in 23 years. And after over a year of search, brainstorming and intense contemplation, the Griffin was finally selected as the new mascot.

The school year wasn’t ordinary, but ordinary years aren’t really something we do around here. Head on over to the channel and check it out for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/williamandmary
