After Feng…
Sorry about the poor quality phone pics, but you get the idea. We’ve adopted a new internal management tool at Creative Services called Feng Office (community edition). We were looking for a simple and efficient way to collaborate on our projects and this handy tool showed up in an 11th hour Google search. It’s got all the basics of project management- milestones, customizable task lists, discussion boards, document storage and reports- and they are presented in a clean, intuitive interface. I’ve used other online project management tools, many I am quite fond of, but Feng Office feels like the perfect fit for this team. So much so that I am willing to concede the name… Feng? Most of us on the team prefer the original (albeit disturbing) name OpenGoo and personally, I’ve lived by the creed if it isn’t a right angle it’s a wrong one.
Anyway, so far so good… I hadn’t seen the surface of my desks in months! Our summer projects will be loaded by the end of the week and I am confident Feng will keep us on course. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to login and mark my task “blog about Feng” complete.
