CASE 2010 Circle of Excellence Awards were announced and William & Mary received these national awards:
- a Gold award for the W&M Mascot Search in the category of Best Uses of Social Media (recipients are Susan Evans, Joel Pattison, Eric Pesola, and Spencer Milne)
- a Gold award for the W&M Mascot Search in the category of Alumni Relations Programs/Creative Uses of Technology and New Media (recipients are Susan Evans, Joel Pattison, Eric Pesola, and Spencer Milne)
- a Silver award for this Stephen Salpukas photograph entitled “Philosophy” in the Individual Photographs category
- a Bronze award for this Stephen Salpukas photograph entitled “Bowman Plays the Alma Mater” also for the Individual Photographs category
CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas.
